About the album
*NOVOS RUMOS*, a collaboration between Ricardo Herz and Samuca do Acordeon, was released in March 2016. This CD is the result of the Rumos Música Coletivo project, which aimed to bring together artists from different parts of Brazil who had never played together before, creating space for new musical creations.
Here it is!
Delightful music to listen to, featuring *gaúcho* and *paulista* influences, a repertoire of classics, and original compositions.
“I was present the moment Ricardo Herz and Samuca Costa met. The challenge proposed by Rumos Itaú Cultural was for them to create a work together without any preconceived notions—music starting from ‘zero,’ as we jokingly called it at that initial stage. The result is here on this album, and I can—and must—say that following this journey was one of the greatest musical joys of my life.”Edson Natale
